We hope you have enjoyed a restful summer break and managed to spend time with family and friends in the sunshine.
We are delighted to be back and very much looking forward to welcoming our young people on Monday morning. As you are aware, Covid mitigations will continue for the first six weeks before review. This means that young people and staff will be expected to wear a face covering at all times and to follow the guidance on hand sanitising. Please ensure your child has a face covering for school each day. If your child has an exemption for face coverings, please ensure their Pupil Support teacher is aware of this and they will inform all relevant staff. Information has been sent to all Parents/Carers on the new guidance for positive cases and track and trace information.
This year we have some young people attending school with a severe food allergy. We are asking that all young people who come into school do not bring lentil-based products or nuts of any kind into school as these could put the young person at risk. Lentil soup will be substituted in the school canteen.
Monday 16th August
New S1 pupils should meet on the football pitches at the back of the school for the start of the school day at 8.55am. Registration teachers and SLT will be present to direct young people for an extended registration on Monday morning.
All year groups S2-6 should attend their registration class first thing on Monday morning.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone back on Monday and hopefully there is a more settled year ahead for all of us,
