This year, as part of our approach to Participatory Budgeting, there is an opportunity for everyone in our school community – pupils, parents, and staff to get involved in influencing how to spend £10,000 of our Pupil Equity Funding budget. This is money the school is given by the Scottish Government to overcome any disadvantages that pupils or families may be facing that prevent them from getting the most out of school.
We have been working with pupils, parents, and school staff to come up with ideas that we could take forward with this money. Once we have decided on these ideas, they will be pitched to the school community through email, Twitter, the school website and the school app and everyone in our school community will get to vote for the best idea to introduce into Duncanrig.
Pupils were part of a focus group on 1st October and provided very mature ideas and now we are wanting to hear your thoughts on how the money could be spent.
Can you please fill in the following survey by Monday 25th October?
