Dear Parent or Carer,
I hope you are enjoying a well-earned rest over the summer break and have made the most of the recent sunshine –let’s hope it returns soon! We are expecting further Covid guidance relating to the return of school later this week and will update you as soon as we receive this.
SQA results will be issued to young people on August 10th 2021. These will reflect the information issued in June, however if there are any errors please contact the school office on August 12th 2021.
As many families will be purchasing uniform now, please see the reminder of the school uniform below. The wearing of school uniform is central to our school ethos and wearing school uniform ensures our young people maintain a pride in the school and creates a sense of unity which is important especially in a very large secondary school like Duncanrig.
Duncanrig’s Uniform Code is:
Plain white school shirt
School tie worn appropriately
Plain black school trousers or plain black skirt
Plain black v-neck jumper or cardigan that allows school ties to be seen
Black school shoes (white laces or trainers are not appropriate)
Please note that leggings and tracksuit bottoms are not appropriate school wear and should not be worn to school.
Please contact us if you have any concerns over sourcing appropriate uniform.
